Planners and reading

Children need to bring their reading book and planner to school every day. We will change reading books every Tuesday or earlier if your child finishes their book. Please sign your child's planner each time you read with them at home. We ask that children read at home at least three times a week. Each week we will name one child in each class to be the bookworm of the week.  The bookworm of the week will receive a bookmark and have their photograph put on their classes leader board in the school hall.

Homework

Each half term we send out a homework book filled with activities for your child to complete. Each activity is worth points, and they need to achieve 12 points to earn a 'homework treat' at the end of term.

Please work through the activities with your child and encourage them to complete as many of them as possible.
